Humor is dis - arming and socially charming

and there is certainly no harm in

having a little fun

after a hard day of work is done.

But the rumor is alarming that honey bees

will stop swarming and the farmers will stop farming

if the price of rice is actually cut twice

and the price of ice rose and stayed froze

at a thousand dollars a ton.

 

 

A con, who is a victim of a successful prosecution,

is also is known as a convict.

But a john who engages in an act of prostitution

will often have his pockets picked.

 

A pro in the know will continue to grow

if his deeds are lawful.

And a line of good prose is as sweet as a rose

unless the rhythm is awful.
